Air Europa has announced the launch of Air Europa ON, a cross-cutting project designed to elevate the customer experience at every stage of the journey. The initiative arrives at a symbolic moment: the airline is celebrating its 40th anniversary and preparing to bring new routes and aircraft into its fleet.
According to Richard Clark, CEO of Air Europa: “Air Europa ON is one of the most important initiatives the company has developed in recent years.”
The three pillars of the program
1. On-Board
Improvements focused on comfort and service during the flight:
- Upgrades to the Business and Economy cabins.
- Improved satellite wifi across the fleet.
- New amenities and a refreshed drinks menu.
- Enhanced in-flight meal service.
2. On-Ground
The second pillar focuses on optimizing the passenger's airport experience, with emphasis on the airline's main hub:
- Better overall airport experience.
- Special focus on Madrid-Barajas as the main hub.
- Stronger passenger care and operational efficiency.
- An upcoming VIP tarmac transfer service for Business-class passengers.
3. On-Airplane
The third pillar centers on the maintenance and technical operation of the fleet:
- Interior and exterior care of the aircraft.
- Renewed interior equipment and materials.
- Real-time cabin temperature control.
- End-to-end monitoring from the Integrated Operations Center.
The context: 40 years and growing
The plan coincides with three key milestones for the company:
- Air Europa's 40th anniversary.
- Announcement of new routes to Asturias, Seville, Geneva, and Johannesburg.
- Fleet built on Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Boeing 737 aircraft, with the upcoming arrival of the Airbus A350-900.
