On October 8, 2026, LATAM Brasil and Embraer announced the start of the delivery process for the airline’s first E195-E2. According to Embraer’s official release, it is the first of 12 aircraft expected to be delivered by the end of 2026. This CAMF Travel article is published on October 9.
A new stage for the network in Brazil
Embraer places this step within the plan announced in September 2025 to add up to 74 aircraft of this model. That figure describes the scope of the plan, not aircraft already delivered. The manufacturer says LATAM’s network in Brazil grew from 44 airports six years earlier to 63 at the time of the announcement.
What to check before traveling
The start of delivery does not mean the aircraft is already carrying passengers. The release describes steps still required before entering service, including customs procedures, cabin approval and certification with Brazil’s aviation authority, ANAC.
If you are planning a domestic flight in Brazil, confirm available routes, schedules and the planned aircraft for your travel date with the airline or your advisor. This fleet announcement alone does not confirm that new routes are on sale.
